Aortic Punch - CleanCut®
The aortic punch is intended for creating an opening(s) in the wall of the aorta or other selected vessels to prepare a site for anastomosis.
 The PerfectCut™ Aortotomy System is a set of two devices designed to complement each other and eliminate lateral side notches from an aortotomy. First, a crisscross aortic lancet blade creates a large circumferential incision with a small footprint. This precise incision is smaller than the punch tip yet allows the punch to be inserted through the aortic wall with minimal force. The ergonomic handle and retractable safety blade shield provide additional workplace benefits. Secondly, the shape of the punch bullet-tip supports a straight perpendicular insertion through the incision. Since the punch barrel rotates while the tip travels, this dual cutting action creates a clean circular hole in the aorta. The PerfectCut™ Aortotomy System facilitates and standardizes the aortotomy technique in open-heart surgery.
RCL and RCC are CleanCut punches.
RCK are PerfectCut Bullet-Tip punch and Lancet Kits.
RCB are PerfectCut Bullet-Tip punch alone.
